How we work
ITN Consulting combines a team of strategy and operational consultants with sector specialists from across the media industry. Our projects typically involve teams of 3-10 staff working closely together either on the client site, in one of our global offices, or a combination of both.
What we look for
We look for individuals with a proven passion for the media industry and a desire to solve complex operational and strategic issues across a diverse range of markets.
Strategy and operational consultants
Our strategy and operational consultants will typically have a background at a leading consultancy or media organisation. As with most consultancies, there are a number of grades within our organisation:
Principal
Principals are responsible for cultivating and managing client relationships and are ultimately responsible for the sale and delivery of client projects.
Principals are considered thought-leaders within the media industry, will have an extensive network of contacts and will be highly visible across industry events and conferences.
Manager and Senior Manager
Managers are responsible for the day-to-day management of client engagements. This includes planning, budgeting and co-ordinating ITN and client teams and workstreams to ensure the successful delivery of projects. Senior Managers will typically work on larger, more complex engagements and will have an increased focus on the continued relationship with the client.
Managers and Senior Managers will typically have 5-10 years experience working in media, with at least three years experience in a consulting environment. We look for individuals with exceptional track records in the consultancy and / or media industries.
Consultant
Consultants are typically responsible for leading workstreams within a project and managing client sub-teams. On some occasions, a more experienced Consultant may manage a smaller project under close supervision from the Principal leading the engagement.
Consultants typically have 3-5 years experience in consulting or an appropriate industry role and will demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of the media industry globally. We look for individuals with an exceptional track-record in consulting, academia or the media industry.
Business Analyst
Business Analysts (BAs) are primarily responsible for the collation of research, conducting detailed analysis and producing reports for clients.
A business analyst will typically have 0-3 years experience in the consulting industry. We look for individuals with outstanding academics from leading universities, a proven passion for the media industry and an ability to solve complex strategic and analytical questions.
Industry experts
Our sector-specialist industry experts will have worked as global leaders in their field and will demonstrate the ability to apply their expertise within a client-focused, strategic framework.
Our experts work across a wide variety of projects ranging from providing specialist advice on complex operational issues to delivering hands-on training on the ground. Many of our experts work on a freelance basis and we are always interested in adding to our talent pool.
