About ITN Consulting

ITN Consulting is a world-class consultancy specialising in media, new media and telecommunications. We help clients address major challenges such as new launches, re-launches and strategic responses to market and technological change.

Our team combines media specialists in strategy consulting (mainly ex-Partners, Managers and Consultants from Spectrum Strategy Consultants) with a team of expert media productions and operations consultants who mostly trained at and were senior executives at ITN, ITV or the BBC. We also draw upon a network of Associate Principals including ex-Ministers, ex-CEOs and ex-Controllers.

We are an integral part of ITN, the UK’s leading video news and media service provider. This gives us access to ITN’s 700-strong staff and infrastructure and allows us to drive long-term engagements with our clients all the way through to managing services on their behalf.

We have offices in London, Milan, Dubai and, through our partner Venture Consulting, Singapore and Sydney. We operate as a network which means that our consultants work on engagements globally.

The above makes us unique. We focus on how strategy can be implemented to deliver to real change. We understand how global, regional and local media markets conflict and come together and the opportunities this creates. We take both an external, outsider perspective as well as having the viewpoint of senior "insider" media executives and operational experts.

About ITN

Founded in 1955, Independent Television News (ITN) is one of the world's oldest and most well-established television production companies.

Since launch, ITN has produced ITV News for ITV, the UK's leading commercial broadcaster, and since 1982 has produced Channel 4 News on behalf of Channel 4, the UK's second commercial broadcaster.

ITN has also produced Channel 5's news programming, and operated the Independent Radio News (IRN) contract on behalf of the UK's commercial radio stations.

Over the past 55 years, ITN has launched a number of 24-hour news services including the ITV News Channel, EuroNews and Setanta Sports News.
